Ord. No. 261-8 ·Every one-family, two-family, multi-family dwelling, store or place of business must have 35 gallon plastic or metal receptacles with tight-fighting covers for use by occupants. Metals or plastic containers with tight-fitting lids are required for all businesses selling food products. It is strongly recommended that metal or plastic containers be utilized instead of plastic garbage bags whenever possible.
Ord. No. 261-9 ·A sufficient number of receptacles must be provided to hold accumulated waste materials between collection days.·Receptacles must be filled so that the contents do not overflow.·Receptacles must be kept covered and protected at all times to prevent nuisance conditions from occurring.
Ord. No. 261-10 (A) ·Receptacles must be placed at the curb no earlier than 12 hours before garbage collection and receptacles must be removed from the curb within 12 hours after garbage pickup.
